I know a lot of people think they’re just the “thing” right now, but generations of people have been using them for years as part of a more natural way of living.
Essential oils have so many uses. They can be used:
-aromatic
-Topical
-Internal
You can even use them in home solutions! The only thing I use in my house is Young Living’s Thieves Cleaning Concentrate Solution, which can be diluted to mop floors and clean countertops.

Ask around, you can see they are a big part of my life and I use them DAILY.

Lemon
Because lemon oil is so versatile, it is one of the most useful oils to always have on hand (hence my stash of 3 bottles at a time). Not only is the scent so light and refreshing, but its antioxidant properties can also support a healthy immune system. .
Tip: Use in your favorite diffuser blend or put several drops on a clean cotton cloth and take it with you to inhale ‘on the go’. Here are 12 uses for lemon essential oil!
Incense
Frankincense oil isn’t just for the holidays. This beneficial oil is said to evoke feelings of spirituality and inner strength. I love to spread this while doing yoga or meditating in the morning.
Tip: Apply 1-2 drops of frankincense to face and neck to visually minimize blemishes, or add a few drops to dry skin for a healthier glow.

Peppermint oil is perfect all year round when you want to refresh tired muscles after a workout or create a focused environment for school work. Tip: Apply a few drops of peppermint oil to your temples or neck for a cool, refreshing feeling and to promote positivity.
tea tree
Tea tree oil, like lemon, is one of the most common essential oils in the stash. It is used in many beauty products for its ability to soothe and beautify the appearance of the skin.
Tip: Apply 1-3 drops of tea tree oil to your skin and rub it in gently. You can even add it to your favorite carrier oil (mine is Young Living massage oil or coconut oil) and use it during a massage session.
Orange
Orange essential oil is known for having a sweet and peaceful fragrance that can inspire creativity and harmony. The fresh citrus aroma can be diffused with other oils such as grapefruit or lemon to give your day the boost it needs.
Tip: Add 8-12 drops of witch hazel orange to a glass sprayer and mist your sheets, sheets and closets to leave a clear, fresh scent.
Lavender
Lavender has almost endless ways to use this oil. It is known to have a relaxing and calming effect. You can use it to moisturize your skin or even add a few drops to the water to use as an air freshener in your home.
Personally, I use lavender for EVERYTHING and it’s not just for its soothing floral scent.
Tip: If you’re having trouble relaxing after a day, use this oil to make orange and lavender bath bombs and place one of these in your bathroom to help you relax. If you are feeling restless, use a few drops of this oil in your diffuser to soothe you at night.

Thieves is a blend of cloves, rosemary and other spices that exudes a rich, spicy aroma. Its versatile uses are incredibly beneficial and, when taken internally, can help support a healthy immune system! Every morning I drink a glass of water and add a few drops of lemon and thieves to start the day right.
Tip: If you’re feeling cold, add a few drops of Thieves to your Epsom salt bath to keep it warmer.
