I began past 6, playing with RS3. I’d have quit if I had observed 50 videos explaining everything. Therefore many players should have stopped due to cheap RS gold this. RS3 is the only one that feels unplayable, although I have used Wikis for several games before. Yeah, I’ve been playing for 16 years and also the wiki is never shut on my second monitor. It is a vital part of RuneScape that’s different than a lot of games. You are able to play without it, however, you shouldn’t. So if I typed in”/wiki burnt lobster” in game it’ll pull up the corresponding wiki page within my default browser.

Jagex should pay attention to these for sure. Just player watching his first responses to this UI and starting rs3 was polarizing. It is a wreck and perplexing. The default option should NOT be the one. It has to be a basic screen that features exactly what the participant requirements. Let them figure out the materials afterwards. His video is that the one I linked. I disagree players on a locked screen that is old-school can lead to a lot of them never learning that there exists a fully customize-able one.

Absolutely not. RuneScape is different from how it was when Tutorial a island came out in 2002. Contemporary RS3 can’t have Tutorial Island because its tutorial to get brand new players, it does not teach you enough about the game that is contemporary. The Burthorpe tutorial is not perfect, but it’s far better for beginners. Island can be still relevant, and functioned for everybody? If anything the battle has to be upgraded but that is it? You and I agree. Also I would rather get thrown in silent Lumbridge and figure out things with the Combat Academy and Cook’s Assistant till I get in my feet, instead of get chucked into Burthrope at the”activity” so to speak.

Lumbridge is a great starting area. You are able to certainly do Woodcutting, Fish, Mine and attack cows and goblins. Lumbridge is fine. You do not need to focus on everything. Then begin expanding into other skills and you started to venture out to cities and other towns. Together with Burthrope, yes, you can do of the abilities but I feel that’s the issue. There are various things to do in RuneScape! Pace out them, and I’m sure thr player experience improves. This is a take. Whenever I try new games, then I really don’t enjoy sitting through the turorials and the boxes, I just need the fundamentals and I will figure out everything.

I switched to rs3 from osrs about 5 months ago. It took me time of saying wtf do I do to attempt it and logging in. My first couple of days of rs3 was learning UI gearing fresh coaching spots guides, and skills work. Gotta say tho today that I feel as if I have a good grip on I. But I concur jagex could make the process alot easier. A tutorial in’s and out’s of the UI would be amazing for novices. RS3 since 2005 and I’ve been enjoying, but off and on a lot because I started working, so I am still a noob, albeit with stats.
