Application in coal tar industry successfully
Recently, our LWS450 × 1845CX three-phase horizontal decanter centrifuge for coal tar industry was successfully put into operation in the coal tar treatment line of a steel company in Northwest China.
This machine is mainly used in the coal tar oil extraction process, which is jointly debugged by the customer and our company’s professional engineers. The actual material density of the centrifuge is 1.144, and the feed temperature is 80 ° C; the actual capacity reaches 10-12m 3 / h, which is greater than 9-10m 3 / h expected by customers; after separation, the moisture content of tar is less than 2% (WT), which is equivalent to the similar advanced technology products in foreign countries, and the oil content of ammonia water after separation is 0.8% – 2.0% (WT), reaching the domestic leading level. The technical index of the product is fully in line with and better than “the industry standard of spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge”. Because it remarkably improved the quality of coal tar products and reduce production energy consumption, the product has been highly praised by users.

Centrifuge working principle: the feed suspension is introduced through an inlet pipe into the feed zone of the conveyor where it is accelerated and directed into the interior of the bowl. The settled solids are conveyed axially towards the small end of the bowl by means of the screw conveyor, which rotates at a slightly different speed than the bowl. On the way to the discharge ports the solids are lifted out of the pond up along the dry beach. The solids are finally discharged from the bowl through the discharge ports into the collecting chamber of the casing that surrounds the bowl. From there the solids are removed by gravity through the outlet funnel. The liquid phase forming a hollow cylinder due to the centrifugal force, and flows towards the large end of the bowl. Coal Tar Separation Centrifuge the liquid overflows adjustable plate dams into the chamber of the casing and is discharged by gravity.
