World of Warcraft is been in a difficult spot lately. The reception to the end the WotLK Classic has been mixed. Blizzard remains at the center of the sexual assault lawsuits and allegations that were filed the past year. World of Warcraft is set to reveal the next expansion pack in April, which means that Nomadichedgehog still has plenty of time to map out the remainder of Earth prior to 10.0’s officially launched.
Now that they’ve been around for more than 20 years, there are a few MMORPGs that currently have both modern and classic versions running at the same time. World of Warcraft is one instance, with producer Blizzard recently making an announcement about an expansion of the retail game as well as the next update in the continued historic progression of Classic.
The most recent patch in Classic World of Warcraft adds an entire new region that is a huge island off the northern coastline of the Eastern Kingdoms under the care of a group known as The Shattered Sun Offensive. The Isle of Quel’Danas is located only steps away from Silvermoon City which is the capital of the Blood Elves Although this is a Horde race, the island is accessible to all players of both factions and includes completely new content for anyone.
While the most crucial locations for this group are on the island, all players must start elsewhere to gain access to the Isle of Quel’Danas itself. Talk to Draenei NPC named General Tiras’alan. the representative of the Offensive, standing next to A’dal, to begin the quest that takes you to that Isle of Quel’Danas for the first time.
Shattrath is also an important hub for various other Shattered Sun NPCs giving out daily quests once the first period on the island has completed. The dailies that are offered to players in Shattrath tend to be done in Outland particularly in the areas within Netherstorm and Garadar and Garadar, but there’s an option to grind the reputation levels outside of the new zone in order to escape the crowds.
